Kaizer Chiefs hope to end the year on a high this weekend when they face TS Galaxy in the Premier Soccer League outing at the Mbombela Stadium.
The Rockets hope for maximum points in their bid to finish in the top eight while the Glamour Boys are seen as the dark horses in the race for the South African top-tier.
Victory for the visitors will take them joint second on the table alongside the defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns who have a better goal difference.

Kaizer Chiefs are winless in their last three games across all competitions; they have two draws and a loss. As a matter of fact, the Soweto giants have collected just two wins in their recent five games.
TS Galaxy have collected two wins as well from their last five fixtures across all competitions, as many losses and a draw.
In the head-to-head record, Galaxy are unbeaten in the last five meetings with Amakhosi, from which they have won once and shared the spoils on four different occasions.
What They Said
“Dropping points always drives you to push for maximum points in the next game. You don’t want to drop points, you always want to get three every game. So, dropping points gives you the hunger, the drive to make sure you go all out in the next game,” Velebayi told the media referring to the recent 0-0 draw with Chippa United.
“I have been watching [TS Galaxy] closely; they are in a pretty decent form, so going into that game, I know for sure that it’s going to be intense. We will be looking to go all out.
“We just need the right mindset from everyone who will be playing. They have been in good form and we don’t take it lightly. It’s going to be a tough game,” he concluded.

“All of the top-8 clubs play good football, and every team wants to win as many points as they can because the gap is very tight,” Galaxy tactician Adnan Beganovic said ahead of the game.
“If you have two good back-to-back results, you can jump a few positions, but everything is on us. After every game, we talk and analyse and find ways to get better, but we need to do everything on the field because 40 points is our target this season.
“We have the last game to play against Kaizer Chiefs, it is again like a final. We want to go home with something; we collect three points, and then we have 23 points, adding to our tally. And it will be much easier if we have 23 points, but I know it can be much difficult and tougher in the second round for all teams,” he concluded.

Rushwin Dortley and Fiacre Ntwari remain sidelined and are set to be involved from January.
