‘We don’t care about results, time for Chiefs’ Nabi to go home! There’s language barrier, players don’t understand’

Recently, Kaizer Chiefs coach fumed when he was asked by a journalist whether he has what it takes to deliver for the club as anticipated.

The former AS FAR Rabat has struggled to get the consistency needed in the Premier Soccer League, which has seen the Glamour Boys struggle to get into the top eight. They are currently placed ninth on the table after failing to win any of their last seven league games.

Have a look at what the fans said following Nabi's reactions in the wake of the 2-1 loss against their old rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto Derby.

Nabi can’t handle pressure

It's time to return home; Kaizer Chiefs don't need you anymore. I don't even know when was the last time you won a game –  Thandeka Mbabala KaMashiya

Nabi knows very well, if he were producing the same results for a club in Tunisia, he would have been fired a long time ago –  Kitiki Moela

Kaizer Chiefs have created a lot of chances than any team in PSL this season, so in other words, Nabi is not the problem, but players are. Imagine if the players scored all those chances that they missed, we couldn't be in this situation today – Itumeleng E-two

His actions nowadays speak louder than words, this guy can't handle the pressure coming from coaching a club like Chiefs – Tender Hearted

Nabi is the right man with the wrong squad. He is brave, he believes in ball players, and he believes in controlling the game. Unfortunately, he does not have such players. Motaungs must do the right thing and buy good players – Tubaletu Madwantsi

Players don’t understand Nabi’s language

Before attacking Nabi, let's think about Hugo Broos' remarks about Chiefs players. He doesn't have a Chiefs player in his squad for a reason. So we can criticize Nabi all we want, but Chiefs lack quality. We praise all the signings he has made so far, so think about it when he has got a full squad of players of his preference – Gcobani DeepSoul Sikundla II

As fans, we don’t care about the process, we care about the results. You have to win the Nedbank Cup to save your name – Lefa Strauss Lekitlane

Maybe the players did not understand his language, that's why they don't perform – Vusi Mavucie Qabela

Nabi is not a bad coach. I sometimes feel like there's a language barrier between him and the players. Interpreters may be influential in this condition, judging from their interviews – Madlala NgeNdlovu

But guys, let's be honest, all these great chances Kaizer Chiefs create and the players miss them, should we pin things on the coach alone? I think we have to even blame the Muti they are using, maybe it's what is making them fail to score – Akanyang Godkid Sepombo
