Kaizer Chiefs fans will have to wait a little longer to see new signing Lebohang Maboe in action.
While head coach Nasreddine Nabi is eager to introduce the experienced midfielder, he confirmed that Maboe is still building his fitness.
Nabi, whose comments were translated from French by assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef, praised the club's management for their “smart” deal to bring in the former Mamelodi Sundowns star, calling him an “intelligent player” with valuable experience.
Maboe is one of ten new signings for Amakhosi this transfer window.
