Tshepang Moremi is among the players who have delivered for Orlando Pirates since the off-season transfer window.
In the 2025/26 season, the 25-year-old has played 20 games for the Sea Robbers across all competitions. The Bafana Bafana international, who was part of the national team squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) has scored eight goals for Bucs and provided an assist.

However, it was not easy fro Bucs to get their man from Usuthu as revealed by their former coach Pablo Franco Martin.
The ex-Real Madrid Assistant coach insists AmaZulu had seen the potential of the winger, and leaving him to leave during that time wasn’t an ideal move since the club couldn’t get value for him.
We saw how the player was developing
“I think he took the right steps. In the first season with us, Orlando Pirates already made an offer for him. We said no because we saw the potential and knew he would increase his value,” he opened up to FARPost.
“I remember at the beginning of the season, many people were criticising him and us because we gave him more chances when he was missing very clear goal-scoring chances.

“We insisted because we saw the potential and how the player was developing,” Martin added.
Moremi’s form has seen coach Abdeslam Ouaddou push Relebohile Mofokeng to the No.10 role where he is challenging Sipho Mbule and Patrick Maswanganyi for a starting berth.
