Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has gone with an experienced squad for their final 2026 World Cup qualifier against Rwanda at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Broos has handed starts to Evidence Makgopa, Thapelo Morena, Thalente Mbatha and Khulumani Ndamane against the Amavubi for their must-win match.
The four are the changes made to the squad that played out a goalless draw with Zimbabwe last Friday.

How are South Africa lining up?
Goalkeeper Ronwen Williams retains his place, same as Khuliso Mudau at right-back, Aubrey Modiba deployed at left-back again, with Nkosinathi Sibisi now set to partner Ndamane in central defence.
In midfield, Mbatha comes in to partner Teboho Mokoena while Sipho Mbule is deployed in an attacking midfield role.
Oswin Appollis retains his place on the left wing with Morena coming in on the right with Makgopa playing upfront.
Bafana Bafana must win the match and hope that Nigeria beat Benin for them to seal a direct ticket to the 2026 World Cup.
