‘Bafana Bafana will be humiliated at World Cup; Broos benefited from Mokwena! laughing stock to some Chiefs fans’

Published on by

Bafana Bafana played to a 1-1 draw with Jamaica last weekend in their final buildup ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup starting on Thursday, June 11.

South Africa will be facing the co-hosts Mexico in a repeat of the 2010 edition that ended 1-1. While El Tri have been convincing in their friendly games, Hugo Broos’ men are winless in the last four outings where they have lost once and drawn the rest.

Ahead of the forthcoming World Cup opener, a majority of football loving fans in Mzansi are not convinced that Bafana Bafana are ready to compete.

They feel the national team will be on their way back home since they will be the whipping boys in Group A that is also made up of the Czech Republic and South Korea. Have a look at their arguments as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

Madala is trying to distract our minds

Mexico are busy winning their friendlies with margins of five, and as for the Czech and Korea, I don’t wanna say. We are going to receive a huge beating, a huge humiliation, then afterwards take selfies with Better opponents, then come back home –  Sandile MrSaco

Hugo Broos is just a lucky coach who benefited from a Rhulani Mokwena team – Dopeink Tattoz

Playing games indoors, imagine confusing the nation with scores. Bafana Bafana are a private company – Miyelani Sithole

Madala is trying to distract our minds, and that’s why he played behind closed doors. We all know Lyle Foster didn’t score, and that they won – Mvu Myeni

Hugo Broos should start a Sundowns 11 if he wants to increase his chances of survival –  Neotwentysix

Broos, a ‘Master of Draws’?

Lyle Foster is cementing his place in the starting 11, so that he can drink us during the World Cup – Za Khele Tshani

Please don’t make Bafana Bafana to be a laughing stock to some Kaizer Chiefs fans – Mthembu Phiwayinkosi

I always call him the “Master of Draws”. He has mastered how to draw games more than winning – Thulani Croc-pit Ngwenya

Am I missing something guys? Pirates start winning the league, Bafana Bafana flop! I am not blaming Pirates, by the way, but maybe just maybe that was the sign of change. Ever since South Africa started wearing Adidas, things have gone downhill, just like last time we had Adidas on our jerseys – Ntsika Mzimkhulu

Now I see why SAFA chose weak nations for Bafana Bafana. Belgium just baptized Tunisia 5-0 in the lake of fire. SAFA are avoiding this exact situation – Thando Koboka
