COVER EXPERT ANALYSIS

The maximum of R3000 is certainly in the upper limits for sportsbooks in South Africa, which is one of the reasons you should give BetOlimp a try.

Sports Offer: Up to R3000 Matching Deposit

The sports bonus gives new players a 100% matching bonus. For those unfamiliar, this means the maximum deposit is R3000. We tried depositing more, but the maximum bonus is capped at R3000.

After reviewing multiple South African welcome bonuses, we can say that the R50 minimum deposit is among the lowest in the industry. Of course, you can opt for no-deposit, but that is rare, and most of the time it comes only as a free bet.

Once you meet the requirement, you can withdraw up to R10,000. That is huge, but they require players to wager at least 7x the bonus amount + 1x the deposit amount on odds of at least 2.00. That is achievable within 7 days, but it requires some serious planning and prevents you from betting on heavy favourites.

For that, we’d suggest alternatives that allow higher withdrawal amounts, such as the Hollywoodbets promo code.

Casino Offer: Up to R3000 + 250 Free Spins

Th casino bonus gives you up to R3,000 on your first deposit of R50 or more with the BOLAF code. Plus, you have an additional 250 free spins that can be used on Gates of Olympus only. The validity is slightly longer, up to 10 days, but that’s only because you have to wager 35x, which is quite strict. Free spin winnings carry a rollover requirement of 20x, which is much easier. You can win up to R10,000 with the deposit match and R2,000 with the spins, giving you a total of R12,000 in potential payouts.

Spins are granted based on deposit tier:

• R50 – R500: 25 Free Spins
• R500.01 – R1,000: 50 Free Spins
• R1,000.01 – R2,000: 120 Free Spins
• R2,000.01 – R3,000: 250 Free Spins

In contrast, the Playbet promo code also gives you a tier-based deposit match, but with 200 no-deposit free spins instead.

Steps to Use BetOlimp Promo Code

Key Bonus Terms and Conditions

The BetOlimp bonus comes with some important rules:

• Eligibility: New account holders only; limited to one bonus per person/household/IP address.
• Claim Window: Must be claimed within 14 days of opening your account.
• Prerequisites: Cannot be claimed if you have a pending withdrawal or an active ongoing bonus.
• Sports Bet Restrictions: Max stake per selection using bonus funds is R500.
• Sports Loss Clause: If you lose the full bonus, you only need to roll over your original deposit 1x at odds of 2.00+ before withdrawing.
• Max Qualifying Casino Bet: The maximum bet contributing to bonus wagering is R200 per spin/round.
• Free Spin Rules: Winnings carry a 20x wagering requirement; max conversion to real balance is capped at R2,000.

Excluded Games

In our testing, we found that 51 games are excluded from the BetOlimp casino welcome bonus. The full list can be found in the official terms and conditions, but these are some notable titles and providers:

• Spribe: Aviator
• NoLimit City: Mental, San Quentin xWays, Tombstone RIP, Das xBoot.
• Big Time Gaming Slots: Danger High Voltage, Lil Devil, Donuts.
• NetEnt: Starburst XXXtreme, Dead or Alive 2 (Feature Buy), Street Fighter II.
• Red Tiger: Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, Rome: The Golden Age, 10,001 Nights, Cash Volt.
• Other Titles: Jingle Balls, Roadkill, Space Donkey, D-Day, The Crypt.

How To Meet the Sports Wagering Requirements

To successfully turn your BetOlimp bonus balance into withdrawable cash, you must keep the following rules in mind:

• Rollover Target: You need to wager 7x the bonus amount plus 1x your initial deposit.
• Eligible Bet Types: Only single-sport bets count toward rollover. Accumulators, system bets, Lucky Numbers, and casino products are completely excluded.
• Minimum Odds: Every selection must have odds of 2.00 or higher. Bets placed at odds under 2.00 will not count toward your requirement.
• Maximum Stake: The maximum amount per single bet selection that counts toward wagering using bonus funds is R500.
• Time Limit: You must complete all rollover requirements within 7 days of receiving the bonus.

Example: Everton vs Newcastle United

To see how this works in practice, let’s look at a match like Everton vs Newcastle United on the site:

Full Time Result Odds:

• Everton: 2.29
• Draw: 3.60
• Newcastle United: 3.08

1. Check Odds Eligibility: Because all three match result selections are above the 2.00 minimum threshold (Everton at 2.29, Draw at 3.60, and Newcastle at 3.08), a single bet on any of these outcomes will count toward your wagering requirement.
2. Placing a Qualified Bet: If you deposit R500 and receive an R500 bonus, you need to wager R4,000 total (R500 x 7 bonus + R500 deposit). A single R500 bet on Everton to win at 2.29 will count fully (R500) toward clearing the R4,000 target.
3. What to Avoid: Don’t combine this with other selections in an accumulator bet, as only single bets count toward the rollover requirement.

BetOlimp Promo Code Compared to Others

Let’s compare this bookie’s sports welcome bonus with some of the best betting sites in South Africa.

Bookmakers	BetOlimp	Lulabet	Hollywoodbets	Betway
Bonus Offer	100% deposit match up to R3000	R50 free bet or R250 free bet	R25 sign-up bonus	R10 extra bet
Minimum Deposit	R50	R50 or R250	None	R50
Wagering Requirements	1x deposit + 7x bonus	1x deposit + 1x bonus	1x bonus	1x deposit
Validity	7 days	7 days	24 hours	180 days

Most other welcome offers have easier rollover requirements with your deposit, bonus or both. However, BetOlimp offers the highest maximum amount in this group.

Hollywoodbets has the most beginner-friendly offer, with no deposit required and a 1x rollover, but a strict 24-hour time limit. The Lulabet promo code is the most unique choice here, offering either a R50 or R250 free bet based on your matching deposit.

Alternatively, you can claim the Betway sign-up bonus, which includes an extra R10 bet as part of a 3-part welcome pack with 10 casino spins and 10 Aviator flights. Although this bonus lasts nearly 6 months, its total value is significantly lower than that of our chosen betting site.

Final Verdict on BetOlimp Promo Code

Big is an understatement when describing the BetOlimp sign-up bonus. The maximum of R3,000 is certainly at the upper end for sportsbooks in South Africa, which is one reason you should give BetOlimp a try.

Although the wagering requirements are tricky, I found it easy to navigate once I deposited money and started betting on casino games. Our BetOlimp review provides more information about what you can expect from this South African site.
