‘Broos, first coach to omit Chiefs players from Bafana! Who called him a plumber?’

Published on by Willis Sob

Bafana Bafana have qualified for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after Congo Brazzaville's shocking 3-2 loss against South Sudan on Thursday.

The Red Devils needed to win their remaining games in Group K and hope either South Africa or Rwanda lose their remaining games for them to get their ticket.

Prior to matchday five, Uganda had managed to collect 10 points, two more than Bafana Bafana while Congo had four with the Bright Stars of South Sudan having none. South Sudan were determined to get their first win and they surely did it in style at the Juba Stadium.

The result was massive for Hugo Broos who has now become the first coach to take Bafana to back-to-back Afcon competitions. Have a look at what the fans said.
