Burnley FC head coach Scott Parker has spoken highly of striker Lyle Foster, who has seemingly secured his spot as the team's primary forward.
Foster, now in his third season with the Clarets, started their 2025/26 Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur. He joined the club in January 2023 from Belgian side KVC Westerlo during Vincent Kompany's tenure.
Bafana Bafana forward is back to full fitness after an injury last season, and Parker is clearly impressed. The coach praised Foster's quality, stating his confidence that the forward is ready for a memorable campaign.
As a seasoned member of the squad, Foster will be looking to build on his past performances and help his team achieve their goals this season. His growing importance to the club is a testament to his hard work and talent.

‘HOPEFULLY IT’S A BIG SEASON FOR HIM’
“Lyle's doing really well. He's worked really hard. He's come back from an injury that he had back at the end of the season. He's come back looking sharp,” Parker told SuperSport TV.
“He's worked tirelessly over the last three or four weeks, getting up to speed and being at his optimum, in the best place he can be really. He's put himself in a very good position. Certainly, Lyle will keep improving on his fitness and physically.
“Looking forward to Lyle this year and seeing what he can bring. I was delighted to work with him last year. He's an incredible human being with some real quality as well. Hopefully it'll be a big season for him.”
