Lyle Forster to share dressing room with ex-Man City legend

Bafana Bafana star Lyle Foster is set to share a dressing room with former Manchester City legend in the upcoming season at Burnley FC.

Burnley secured a promotion back to the English Premier League after spending just one season in the EFL Championship following their relegation last season.

They ended the last season in second position with 100 points after 46 league matches that were played throughout the campaign.

Foster, who’s a regular for Burnley will be looking to continue as a regular under the leadership of Scott Parker who guided the team back to top-flight.

The Bafana striker will share the locker room with former Manchester City star Kyle Walker after the defender switched to Burnley from AC Milan.

Walker, 35, penned a two-year deal with Burnley, officially joining the Clarets at Turf Moor. This move sees him reunite with his former Tottenham Hotspur and England teammate, Scott Parker, who is now the manager, as they prepare for the 2025/26 Premier League season.

His consistent excellence also saw him named in the Premier League Team of the Year on four occasions. On the international stage, Walker has earned 96 caps for Englandand was recently recognized for his outstanding performance by being included in the 2024 UEFA European Championships Team of the Tournament.
