Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has explained why Amakhosi should have an advantage to win each and every game they play in local football.
While Amakhosi's season under Nasreddine Nabi has been marked by inconsistency, with a record of just 11 wins, seven draws, and 12 losses from 30 matches across all competitions, they have achieved two major positives.
Firstly, they have reached the Nedbank Cup final, setting up a highly anticipated clash with Orlando Pirates on 10 May at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
This achievement is particularly significant as it also secures their participation in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup.
Having taken over from Fiacre Ntwari as Kaizer Chiefs' first-choice goalkeeper earlier this season, Bruce Bvuma contends that the club should have an inherent advantage in every match.

His reasoning is based on the strong presence of their fanbase, stating his belief that as much as 70% of the spectators at any stadium are always fans of the Phefeni Glamour Boys.
‘70% IS ALWAYS OUR FANS’
“For me, as a team, we need to get results everywhere we go,” said Bvuma as quoted by iDiski Times.
“I mean a team like Chiefs we should win in any stadium because every stadium that we play in, 70% is always our fans. So, we don’t feel that we’re playing away, like maybe when we’re playing in Durban or anywhere.
“So yes, it’s important to win our home games. It’s important that we dominate when we play at home but it’s not only our home games, whereby we need to dominate and get maximum points.
“Every game as a team we need to make sure that we win and we perform very well.”
