CAF CC: ‘Chiefs game is haphazard, lacking in coordination but Petersen is World Cup-bound!’

Kaizer Chiefs collected their first three points in the CAF Confederation Cup Group stage thanks to their win over ZESCO United on Sunday.

The lone goal came in the second minute courtesy of Pule Mmodi, who capitalised on a slow start by their hosts. The Glamour Boys are now third on the table with four points, while Al Masry – who drew with Zamalek- lead the chase with seven points, two more than The White Knight.

Have a look at what the fans said after Amakhosi’s victory in Ndola, as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

This kind of performance took Amakhosi to CAF CL final

We will keep saying CAF and Orlando Pirates will say Confederation Cup until we even reach the final –  Mthokozisi Nkabinde

Our play is a bit haphazard, lacking in coordination. Hopefully, the coaches will fix that. Mayo looks a bit slow, not sure what’s wrong with him – Fannie Ditshego

I thought I was watching Senegal giants until my friend reminded me that it was Amakhosi for life – Andile Nkanyiso Maphumulo

This is the kind of football that took Chiefs to the CAF Champions League final. In these kinds of tournaments, especially in group stages and away. You shouldn’t worry about beautiful football, it’s all about grinding results only – Sive Siphelele Poza Dandala

Another clean sheet for World Cup-bound Brandon Petersen, whilst Bafana Bafana number one concedes with every shot on target – Molefi

We need a coach! These ones keep changing squads

Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef Kaizer Chiefs

I’m happy that our coaches no longer sit down and relax. They were up and pushing the boys the whole 90 minutes, and I think that’s how it should be throughout – Tshepo Thomas Motsamai

We won, but their play was not impressive. Glody Lilepo relaxes too much. There was no pressure upfront, maybe they will do better here at home – Disemelo Seitei ‘Dee Jay’

When Zesco United said they were going to beat us home and away, I knew they were in dreamland – Mzukulu KaBheshu Lemfene

Give us Senegal or Manchester City. We are more than electricity. We keep on pushing. Congratulations! – Pule M Qoba

But we need a coach. These ones keep on trying a different lineup every time. They’re confusing players – Nyameko Malangeni Ncanywa
