Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso has dismissed concerns about Iqraam Rayners being the sole scorer since his arrival.
Rayners, enjoying a stellar debut season with 13 goals in 17 games, has netted the winner in each of Sundowns' three 1-0 victories under Cardoso.
They have beaten Raja Casablanca, Stellenbosch and AmaZulu FC.
However, the coach remains unconcerned about goal-scoring being concentrated on one player, emphasising that continued goal-scoring opportunities will naturally lead to increased contributions from other players.
CARDOSO ON SUNDOWNS’ OVER-RELIANCE ON RAYNERS
“I’m not really worried,” said Cardoso.
“I’d be worried if we were not creating so many chances like we did in the last games.
“We arrived in the box, we arrived with many players, we’ve had goal situations.
“Hopefully Iqraam is doing goals, I believe we will have many more players who can make goals.
“They’ll find them naturally, if they continue they will score naturally. If Iqraam is in position he will continue scoring goals but we will also have other players who score.”
