Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos named his squad to play Congo in the back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Teboho Mokoena, Sydney Mobbie, Nkosinathi SIbisi, and Khuliso Mudau were some of the players who were included despite struggles to get game time with their respective teams.

However, Percy Tau, the injured Siyabonga Ngezana, and Veli Mothwa are some of the players who failed to make the cut. Have a look at what the fans said.

As a Khosi supporter l am always happy with a coach's decision. We have many players who are doing fine in the PSL, unfortunately only 23 players are selected of which, according to my perspective, Hugo Broos has done well – Lutendo Kone

We as Kaizer Chiefs, can beat this Bafana Bafana team – Mjovoka Msomi

Hugo Broos must play Orlando Pirates' Thalente Mbatha over Teboho Mokoena of Mamelodi Sundowns – Melvin Muila

These are the people who deserve to play for Bafana Bafana, well done Broos – Mzikayise Tshetsha

Where is our Veli ‘Neuer' Mothwa? He should be in the squad. Broos should have considered him – Peterson Mbatha

Thabiso Sesane! I can't wait to see the twinning of him and Rushwin Dortley. It was way too obvious that Siyabonga Ngezana would not make the cut this time – Blessing Malatji Makoela

I never imagined that one day Percy Tau would be missing from the Bafana Squad without an injury – Thabo Rony

When did Teboho Mokoena play last? It is obvious this players are not called based on current performance – Tlou Nkoana

Siyabonga Ngezana is dropped but Broos's firstborn Sydney Mobbie is still there collecting match fees – Katlego Modise

I am a Mamelodi Sundowns fan but Monnapule Saleng deserves a call-up. He is doing very well –  Lebo Kodisa
