With a mix of pride and good wishes, Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi spoke highly of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe's professionalism as the defender embarked on his new journey with Al-Ittihad in Libya.
Nabi, while acknowledging Ditlhokwe's importance to the Chiefs' lineup, emphasized the significance of this opportunity for the 26-year-old and his family.
Ditlhokwe, who consistently featured for the Amakhosi, leaves after 32 appearances, including a recent victory over Stellenbosch.
‘I WANT TO WISH TT ALL THE BEST’
“Firstly, I want to wish TT all the best in his new adventure,” said Nabi as quoted by FARPost.
“He is a lovely guy; he’s a very professional guy. He’s given his all to Kaizer Chiefs, and this is a good opportunity for him, his life, and his family.

“Everyone who has [served] Kaizer Chiefs, [the team] gives back also in return. This is a high-level club in the world.”
To fill the left-back position, where Ditlhokwe sometimes featured, Nabi pointed to Happy Mashiane and Edmilson Dove. Bradley Cross is another option for Amakhosi gaffer.
REPLACEMENT FOR DITLHOKWE
“I’m happy with [Edmilson] Dove; we have [Happy] Mashiane. Mashiane has had too much time not playing, and maybe the tempo [of the game against Chippa was too high for him]…but he [was] not bad,” he added.
“For me, he’s very good, but [he has to fix] small things, maybe defensively…
“Dove can play central back-left and left-back. So, I think we have the solution for [the remaining] four months [of the season].”
