Legendary Mamelodi Sundowns striker Siyabonga Nomvethe recently broke the long-standing Siyabonga Nomvethe's record of the most goals scored in the Premier Soccer League era.
The former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs forward had scored 129 goals during his active days. The Namibia international has now scored 130 goals, making him the record-holder, which might take time to break.
If he continues playing in South Africa, Shalulile will definitely add a few goals to his name. Nomvethe is happy for the 31-year-old, insisting he deserves it. The ex-Amakhosi striker argues the Sundowns star is a hard worker who has proved he wants to play in South Africa.

“We all know that records can be broken, especially if a player continues to play,” Nomvethe said as quoted by iDiski Times.
“He can break them. I am so happy for him because he’s been scoring regularly and doing well as a striker. So why not get the record? He is here to do the business. All I can say is that the boy is a hard worker. He proved it here in South Africa; he showed that he wanted to be the best player, and that has happened.
“To be the top scorer in the PSL, he deserves it. Of course, I am disappointed by the South African players because they are the ones who should have taken this record over, but it is now a player from the outside who did it,” Nomvethe concluded.
