Kaizer Chiefs have been camping in the Netherlands since July 3, and in the process, they have played several matches as coach Nasreddine Nabi continues to shape the squad for the new season.
So far, the Glamour Boys have played four games, losing three and winning one in the process; their final game in Europe will be against FC Twente on Wednesday, July 16. Some players have impressed European scouts who have been watching the Soweto giants play against the aforementioned teams.
According to Soccer Laduma, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, who is commonly referred to as ‘Mshini' is now a target for some European teams following his impressive displays. The 25-year-old struggled for game time last season, but he has impressed even his coach, Nabi, who is considering using him frequently.
‘Ngcobo's fortune has changed!'

“The interest was shown while we were in the Netherlands. There were recruiters and scouts from a European team who enquired about Mshini. They were impressed with what they saw. There was nothing much because it was a pre-season camp, but they are interested,” the publication reported.
“It's believed that at first, coach Nabi was not a fan of Nkosingiphile [Ngcobo], but apparently, now he has shown more belief in him, and he seems to want to use him more. So, with this interest from Europe, this could mean a change in fortune for him as well, [locally],” they added.
The Glamour Boys are set to compete in the Premier Soccer League and other domestic competitions, save for the MTN8, because they didn't qualify. They will also be among the teams that will play in the Caf Confederation Cup next season.
