‘Kaizer Chiefs want to lose to Mamelodi Sundowns! Polokwane game was sold but where are those fools who wanted Cardoso out?’

Mamelodi Sundowns opened up a five-point lead at the top of the table thanks to their 3-0 win over Polokwane City on Sunday at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

Strikes from Iqraam Rayners, Tashreeq Matthews, and Nuno Santos were enough for the defending champions to get another crucial Premier Soccer League victory to widen the gap. Second-placed Orlando Pirates have a game in hand but will hope the Brazilians drop points for them to stand a chance of winning the crown.
