Marumo Gallants defeated Stellenbosch FC 1-0 to advance to the semifinals of the Carling Knockout Cup. Magesi FC also qualified for the next round.
Bahlabane Ba Ntwa scored the opening goal of the match in the first half through Siyabulela Shai who was set up by the Zimbabwean striker Daniel Msendami.
The Cape Winelands side tried to fight back but couldn’t do enough to get an equaliser.
Meanwhile, Magesi brushed aside TS Galaxy with 1-0 scoreline to make it to the semifinals. Lehlogonolo Mokone scored the only goal that made a difference between two teams.

The semi-final draw for the 2024/25 Carling Knockout will take place on Sunday immediately following the quarterfinal fixture between Marumo Gallants and Stellenbosch FC and TS Galaxy and Magesi FC.
The draw will be LIVE on SuperSport PSL Channel and SABC 1.
Draw Procedure:
- The semi-final draw is unseeded, in accordance with Carling Knockout competition rules.
- All four club names will be placed in a single bowl for the draw.
- The first ball drawn will represent the home team for the first fixture, with the second ball representing the away team.
- This process will be repeated to confirm the second fixture.
