Orlando Pirates continued their winning streak in the DStv Diski Challenge, securing their second consecutive victory while AmaZulu FC picked up their first win of the season.
Ezimnyama Ngenkani claimed a 1-0 win over Sekhukhune at the Isak Steyl Stadium with Siphamandla Msezane scoring the only goal of the match that kept three points home for Joseph Makhanya’s troops.
This win propelled the Sea Robbers to a second place in the standings. They have eight points that they collected in four matches.
Sekhukhune, on the other hand, have struggled, suffering three defeats and only one win in their four matches.
AmaZulu, led by Vusimuzi Vilakazi, secured a 1-0 victory over Chippa United thanks to a late goal from Tebogo Mashigo which was scored in the 81st minute.
This win lifted AmaZulu to fifth place in the standings with six points now from four matches they have played.

They came to this match having drawn all their first three games.
Meanwhile, Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy played out to a 1-1 stalemate in a match that was played at the Sturrock Park.
WHY ROYAL AM DDC MATCHES KEEP ON BEING FORFEITED
The fourth match of the day was supposed to be between the two KZN teams, Royal AM and Richards Bay. However, it was forfeited as Thwihli Thwahla lack sufficient number of registered players to play.
This is due to the transfer ban that keeps on affecting both the first team and the reserve side.
