Bafana Bafana winger Elias Mokwana has not ruled out playing for Kaizer Chiefs in future even after snubbing the Soweto giants.
Mokwana was heavily linked with a move to Chiefs at the end of last season but opted to leave Sekhukhune United for Tunisian giants Esperance instead.
Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr even confirmed that the club submitted a bid for the player but lost out on the explosive forward to the North African club where the 25-year-old has since blossomed after an initial struggle for game time.
Bafana ace leaves door open for Chiefs

Mokwana admits he was flirted with by the interest from Chiefs, as he supports the club, and is not ruling out playing for them in the future.
“Eish, this one’s going to put me in trouble,” Mokwana told iDiski Times when asked about the interest from Chiefs.
“To tell you the truth, my father was an Orlando Pirates fan and I was a Chiefs fan, now you can see,’ he added.
“When they said Chiefs wanted me, I was happy. Unfortunately, it never happened, but the dream is still there. In the future, I might go.”
How has Mokwana fared in North Africa?

Mokwana’s immediate future, however, remains in North Africa as he is in the first season at Esperance where he signed a three-year contract.
The forward has scored five goals and provided four assists in 27 games across all competitions for Esperance who will be in South Africa on Tuesday to face Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League quarter-final.
He has also won back his place in the Bafana Bafana squad and started their 2-0 win over Lesotho last week, setting up the opening goal for Relebohile Mofokeng, but was an unused substitute when they beat Benin 2-0 on Tuesday.
