Bafana Bafana went joint top of Group B table on Monday night thanks to their 2-1 win over Angola in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

It was a vital win for South Africa who are hoping to win their first title since 1996 when they won it in the home soil. In the 2023 edition, Hugo Broos’ men finished third with Ivory Coast winning it and Nigeria coming second.

Have a look at the reactions from Mzansi following the victory in Morocco, as sampled by Afrik-Foot.

It’s good to see our players passing the ball to someone in a better position, unlike in the past. They played as professionals should. Keeping the basics. All that’s left now is for Broos to dodge the media – Mzwandile

Without Moremi Bafana Bafana couldn’t have won

Lyle Foster Teboho Mokoena and Tshepang Moremi Bafana Bafana

Incredible impact from Moremi. He should start ahead of choir master Nkota from now on – Filis

People who don’t rate Hugo Broos at this current moment are suffering from some form of mental illness – Tumelo Riccado
