The winds of change are blowing strongly through Orlando Pirates, and the latest development sees Roscoe Krieling, a former SuperSport United coach, officially join the club's technical team.
This move comes as the Soweto giants undertake a significant overhaul in preparation for the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
Krieling's arrival is particularly notable as it aligns with the appointment of Abdeslam Ouaddou as the new head coach last month, following his tenure at Marumo Gallants.
Ouaddou steps into a demanding role, succeeding Jose Riveiro, who departed the Buccaneers for Al Ahly after his contract concluded.
Riveiro's three-year spell, which began in July 2022, was highly successful, marked by an impressive haul of three MTN8 trophies and two Nedbank Cup titles.

Krieling, who previously worked as an academy coach at SuperSport United before the club sold its top-flight status to Siwelele FC, confirmed his switch to Pirates.
While the former Cape Town All Stars man remained tight-lipped about his specific duties, his palpable enthusiasm for joining “one of the historic football clubs in South Africa” underscores the significance of this new chapter for both Krieling and the Buccaneers.
EX-SUPERSPORT COACH ON JOINING PIRATES
“I’m proud to officially announce that I’ve joined Orlando Pirates Football Club,” Krieling stated.
“It’s a privilege to be part of such an iconic institution in South African football, and I’m fully committed to contribute to the club’s continued success.
“Exciting times ahead — let’s get to work!”
