How Pirates arrive

Pirates are the reigning Knockout Cup champions. They have won four of their last five matches but lost the MTN8 final to Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this month. Oswin Appollis and Nkosinathi Sibisi are expected back after injuries picked up on CAF duty.

Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has said he expects to rotate, as this is Pirates’ third match in 10 days. He called Milford “a well-coached team, very disciplined and well-organised.”

How Milford FC arrive

Milford are fourth in the league after nine matches, with four wins and three draws. Their only defeats this season have come against Pirates and Sundowns.

They have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches. Chairman and coach Dr Xanti Pupuma says there are no injuries or suspensions.
