‘Nyoso' didn't get many chances to prove his worth at Masandawana, especially after the exit of coach Rhulani Mokwena, who had signed him in the 2023/24 mid-season transfer window. However, when the 38-year-old left for Wydad Athletic Club, he signed the attacker, but temporarily.

Lorch's message to Sundowns

Lorch impressed as Wydad Athletic finished third on the Botola Pro League table, and later in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. It prompted the North African outfit to make his deal permanent since they realised the 32-year-old has qualities to benefit the team.

Initially, Sundowns had reportedly demanded $1 million from Wydad Casablanca before lowering their demands, eventually announcing Lorch's exit.

“As I turn to the next chapter of my career, I want to thank Masandawana for welcoming, embracing, and supporting me. To the Chairman and the Board, thank you for allowing me to spread my wings up North.  To my former teammates, Coaches, and Technical Team, I am privileged to have played with you and under your guidance,” Lorch stated in his exit note.

Lorch has reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Moroccan outfit.
