Following a 1-1 draw against Renaissance Zemamra at home on Monday, Wydad Casablanca head coach Rulani Mokwena reiterated his confidence in achieving a specific target during his time at the club, declaring, “We will do it; I can guarantee you that.”

Wydad Casablanca's draw against Renaissance Zemamra allowed league leaders RS Berkane to further consolidate their position at the top of the Botola Pro. The result left Wydad in third place with 24 points from 15 games, eight points adrift of the summit.

Despite the dropped points, Wydad extended their unbeaten run to seven matches in the league, comprising three wins and four draws.

Following the Zemamra encounter, a confident Rulani Mokwena, head coach of Wydad Casablanca, expressed belief in his squad's ability to win the Botola Pro.

MOKWENA MAKES BOTOLA PRO PROMISE

“We haven’t played enough away games with our fans to help and support us and give us a boost,” said Mokwena, as quoted by Elbotola.com

“We struggled a bit on the road, and our home performances have been excellent.

“If someone had told me we would be third or fourth in the standings in the middle of the season with 36 new players, new management and a new coach, I would have said we are on a good way. But we are winners, and we want to achieve more than that.

“We want to achieve more, to compete for the title. We want to win the championship, of course. I don’t know how long it will take us to win the championship, but we will do it; I can guarantee you that because this is a very good team…”
