Kaizer Chiefs Ladies delivered a dominant performance on Sunday, securing a resounding 7-0 victory over Future Stars Ladies in a Gauteng Women’s Provincial League match at Naturena Village.

After a slow start to their debut season, the Glamour Girls have now established a three-match unbeaten streak. The team has found its form, claiming their second consecutive win and putting their opening-day loss behind them.

The campaign began with a 2-0 defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies, followed by a hard-fought 0-0 draw against M.U.S.A United. Their turning point came with a stunning 2-1 comeback victory over JVW FC, setting the stage for Sunday’s commanding display.

Kaizer Chiefs do most damage in first half

Playing on their home ground, Chiefs Ladies were relentless from the start. They established complete control in the first half, heading into the break with an insurmountable 5-0 lead.

The scoring began just seven minutes into the match when a Chiefs attacker skillfully bypassed the Future Stars defence and slotted the ball through the goalkeeper’s legs. The lead was doubled only two minutes later, and the floodgates opened as the score quickly escalated to 4-0.

Just before halftime, the home side added a fifth goal, capping off a first-half performance that could have seen an even wider margin. Despite their dominance, Chiefs were made to wait in the second half, squandering several opportunities before finding the net again.

The sixth goal finally arrived in the 76th minute. The team then sealed their emphatic win with a seventh goal in the 90th minute, securing all three points in spectacular fashion.
