Kaizer Chiefs reserve team played out a 1-1 draw with Leeds United in their second game of their UK tour on Tuesday.
Chiefs, who played against Manchester United on Friday, in a game that had no updates, impressed on their second outing at the Thorpe Arch Training Ground, Wetherby with Bafana Bafana and Amakhosi legend Lucas Radebe among those watching.
The first 20 minutes saw an evenly-balanced encounter from both sides with Chiefs finding it hard past a resolute Leeds defence until the 29th minute when the first goal of the contest arrived.

After asking the early questions, Chiefs found a breakthrough just before the half-hour mark after a neat exchange of passes saw Manqoba Ozoemena connect with Phago to find Gopolang Taunyana, who set up skipper captain Thulani Mabaso to score.
The goal gave the young Amakhosi impetus and they had two more opportunities before the break which they squandered to take a 1-0 lead to the break. Chiefs’ defence remained solid, limiting Leeds’ chances and allowing the midfield to control the pace as they went to halftime leading.
The Glamour Boys should have doubled their advantage five minutes after the break when Ozoemena got himself with a good chance but failed to hit the target.

However, in the 53rd minute, Chiefs were pegged back when Harry Gray converted for Leeds from the penalty spot after a foul in the box.
That goal saw Leeds up the ante and laid siege at Chiefs’ goal in search of the winner but could not get it, letting the South African side off the hook.
Chiefs got the chance to play the high-profile matches courtesy o winning last season’s DStv Diski Challenge title.
