Sipho Mbule has been heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs after his exit from Mamelodi Sundowns following the expiry of his contract.
Despite his massive talent, the 27-year-old had struggled to get regular game time at the club, explaining why last season he was sent on loan to Sekhukhune United. At Babina Noko, Mbule played 17 games across all competitions, with two goals and three assists.
Interestingly, during his time with the Premier Soccer League, Mbule played 51 games, scored three goals, and provided an assist in the process.

The Glamour Boys are currently rebuilding, with coach Nasreddine Nabi keen on adding an established midfielder to his squad. It explains why Mbule has been heavily linked with a move to Amakhosi.
Mbule offered to Chiefs
Player's agent Mike Makaab has revealed his client is ready to work with the Soweto giants once they show interest by signing the midfielder.
“Let me set the record straight. Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club to make the decision, and we need to respect that decision,” the respected agent wrote on his X account.
“Kaizer Chiefs is a professional football club and their decisions will be based on what they think is best for the club. I am not trying to influence anything. Realistically, no matter what I say, I will never please everyone. My job is to do the best for my clients while respecting the football clubs I deal with.”
His revelation will definitely confuse Chiefs fans after initially denying reports linking his client with Amakhosi, “I don’t know where the talks that Sipho Mbule is going to Kaizer Chiefs are coming from. All I can tell you is that the rumours are not true,” he said as quoted FARPost.
“As I said, there hasn’t been any formal approach from any team about the services of Mbule. So we’ll look at all the best possible options to get him a club,” Makaab concluded.
