Kaizer Chiefs will be in action on Saturday in the Premier Soccer League against TS Galaxy at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
This is a massive game for both teams as they intensify their quest to finish in the top positions by the end of the season.
Currently, the Glamour Boys are placed eighth on the table with 29 points from the 23 games played, while the Rockets are fourth with 35 points, having played a game more.
Recent Form and Head-to-Head Record

The Glamour Boys are risking missing out on the MTN8 for the second season in a row, owing to their inconsistencies. They have won just two of their last five games across all competitions but are winless in the last three outings.
As a matter of fact, they are winless in the last three having managed a draw and two losses in the league.
The Rockets have been doing quite well; in the last five league games, they have secured three wins, a draw and a loss.
In the head-to-head record, four out of the last five meetings between the teams have ended in draws. The remaining one was won by TS Galaxy, and Chiefs have no option but to try and win this weekend.
What They Said

“We have been working extremely hard on the field to try and correct that and keep all the good things that we have been doing because it's not been all bad things,” the Mozambique defender Edmilson Dove told the media ahead of the match.
“We are trying to polish our final entrance. We have been creating so many chances and sometimes we don't convert them but also trying to minimize the number of goals that we concede.
“I think overall it is working on all the departments where we feel like sometimes, we let ourselves down. I think we need to maintain the good things that we have been doing, I'm sure we will get it right.
“Defending doesn't start at the back. It is a whole unit problem, and, as I said, there are things that we need to fix starting from the front to the back. When we concede goals, it is not only about the defenders but the whole team, so it is something that we need to fix as a unit and not as a department,” he concluded.
Team News and Starting XI
Kaizer Chiefs expect to have their striker, Tashreeq Morris back in action after a couple of weeks out with an injury. Thabo Cele will undergo a late fitness test, but chances are high that he will be ready for the game.
TS Galaxy have not reported any new injuries, and since their is no player suspended, they will definitely have their best on the pitch.
