Kaizer Chiefs have been inconsistent, especially in the Premier Soccer League, where they have been dropping points unnecessarily.
The last time the Glamour Boys won the South African top tier was in Early November when they registered a 4-1 win against newbies Orbit College. In the last four outings, they have managed two draws in the PSL, one loss in the CAF Confederation Cup and a draw.
Co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze have been in charge of the Soweto giants since the firing of Nasreddine Nabi who served the team for a season and a couple of months.

Recent struggles have seen some suppoters asking the management to consider celebrated South African tactician Pitso Mosimane.
Let Motaung Jr. handle the situation
Ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker Matthew Rusike believes the two coaches have what it takes to deliver, and all they need is time.
“I think as Kaizer Chiefs fans we are not patient; I think Kaizer Jnr is doing a great job as sporting director, especially in terms of recruitment and other matters. We just have to be patient,” he told Kick Off.

“The team is playing well now, but in football all over the world, if coaches don’t bring results, they get fired, that’s how things work. If the two coaches fail to win, they will be replaced. It’s simple.
“As for those calling for coach Pitso, make no mistake, he is a world-class coach. Any team in the world would not mind hiring him because we all know his capabilities.
“But for now, I think we should let Kaizer Jr handle the situation. If the two coaches do well, they will continue. If they don’t deliver results, they will go. That’s how football works,” Rusike concluded.
