Kaizer Chiefs, Zamalek or Raja? Mosimane hints on future

Pitso Mosimane has been delivering in most teams he has coached both in South Africa and abroad.

He recently took over at Esteghlal FC of the Persian Gulf Pro League where he started badly. However, he has seemingly settled if recent results are anything to consider. The Iranian outfit have gone six games across all competitions without tasting defeat.

Mosimane's demand is high owing to his quality and experience; Egyptian giants Zamalek and Botola Pro League champions Raja Casablanca have been linked with his services. Before taking his current job, Mosimane had been linked to Kaizer Chiefs.

However, after the recent run, it seems the Blue Boys management is keen on extending his initial one-year contract.

The 60-year-old has now opened up about his future, “I spoke to the club president. But we didn’t talk about the contract details but he said he would like us to renew the contract. He did ask me, we will see. I am here, I would like to stay. If the contract is on the table, we will talk,” Jingles stated during his recent interview.

“It’s not yet on the table but when it’s there I won’t take long to respond. I want to stay here and help the club. We can be a better team than they deserve. They play well, it’s not like before. I have no problem staying in Iran.

“I don’t have problems with social life, my problem is football-related. Everyone was saying Iran was not the right place, with sanctions and all that but I am good. I like it here,” Mosimane concluded.
