Just days after becoming a free agent, Bafana Bafana international Zakhele Lepasahas secured a major deal as the new brand ambassador for Mahindra South Africa.
The 28-year-old, who recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates, has already been involved with the Indian automaker, showcasing their new 4×4 models. Now, he's solidified that relationship with a full brand partnership.
Taking to his social media pages to share the exciting news, the former Buccaneers striker expressed his delight at this new venture, which marks a promising new beginning off the pitch as he considers his next move on the field.
LEPASA – ‘IT’S MORE THAN JUST A PARTNERSHIP’
“This collaboration marks more than just a partnership. It's a shared commitment to pushing boundaries, embracing bold journeys, and celebrating the spirit of possibility,” said Lepasa via statement.

“Here's to creating history, meaningful connections, and driving impact, together,” read the last two paragraphs of Lepasa's statement, shared alongside a snap of himself in front of the Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV.
This new partnership with Mahindra signals a much-needed positive shift for Zakhele Lepasa, who is now entering a new chapter in his career.
The Bafana Bafana forward spent the entirety of the last season out of action due to a serious injury, and he did not manage to feature in a single match for the Soweto giants. However, his fortunes appear to be changing.
Lepasa is currently part of the national team squad preparing for the African Nations Championship (CHAN), and his work with Mahindra has been steadily building.
It was first revealed back in June when he promoted a Mahindra Pik Up on his social media. The collaboration was taken a step further this week, with Linda Mntambo tagging along to the Leribisi 4×4 Training Academy to test drive the automaker's lineup of SUVs.
