Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly set to add Portuguese midfielder Miguel Reisinho to their list of new signings after also agreeing a deal for his compatriot Nuno Santos on Sunday.
Reports on Sunday said Sundowns were closing in on the signing of Santos before the PSL transfer window shuts on Monday and now, it will be double delight for the fans as another Portuguese midfielder is set to be signed with the imminent arrival of Reisinho.
Reisinho has reportedly travelled to South Africa and his deal is in the final stages before being confirmed as he joins Sundowns as a free agent.
What does Reisinho bring to Sundowns?

The 26-year-old has been without a club since leaving Portuguese club Boavista when his contract ended at the conclusion of last season and he is reported to have turned down overtures from Turkish side Kayserispor and Polish club Jagiellonia but the Sundowns project seems to have enticed him.
Reisinho has made 77 appearances in the Portuguese top flight, scoring eight goals and providing four assists, while playing for Boavista between 2019 and 2025.
He is yet to turn out for the Portugal senior team but has featured for the country’s U18, U19 and U20 teams and can play either as a central or attacking midfielder.
Reisinho will link up with Santos at Sundowns with the playmaker set to be signed for a reported €1 million (R20 million) from Vitoria Guimaraes SC as the PSL champions beef up their squad on deadline day after getting slow in the market this time around.

Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso will welcome his two compatriots who will hope that his presence will help them settle in quickly with the tactician having expressed optimism that the Brazilians will reinforce the squad before the window closes.
“The market is still open and we believe that the team will be reinforced,” Cardoso said at the weekend as quoted iDiski Times. “We are seriously, together us coaches, sporting director and the board of the club, looking to eventually reinforce the team.”
Sundowns have so far signed left-back Fawaaz Basadien from Stellenbosch FC and midfielder Tsiki Ntsabeleng on loan from MLS club FC Dallas.
