Mamelodi Sundowns have seemingly made a decision on Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba who’s been under assessment at the club.
Mothiba began training with the Brazilians a week ago, as he hopes to impress Miguel Cardoso and earn a contract at Chloorkop.
Cardoso says the striker isn’t someone who can help them now since he has been out of action for close to a year.
However, he feels he can of a “medium or long-term plan”. Meanwhile, according to FARPost, the former Lille striker has been offered a short term contract by the Tshwane giants.

MIGUEL CARDOSO COMMENTS ON LEBO MOTHIBA
“Let me make it clear, Lebo Mothiba will not help the team because he’s not in good condition,” said Cardoso.
“He comes from a long period of injury. So, we should not even think about him helping the team in the moment, he’s not in that process.
“He’s working with us but it’s a medium, long-term plan for him. He’s one year without playing after he went through big surgery.
“And he’s working on his condition, still many questions on the process. He’s a wonderful person and a wonderful player but everybody, even ourselves, we cannot put pressure on him.”
