Mamelodi Sundowns are likely to release three more players before the transfer window closes, according to Soccer Laduma.
The CAF Champions League holders have already released Miguel Reisinho and Peter Shalulile while Terrence Mashego, Jody Ah Shene, Aphelele Teto and Neo Maema are out on loan.
Reports also indicate that goalkeeper Jody February is heading out after his agent confirmed that he is exploring options. February has seen limited gametime at Chloorkop and his situation is complicated by the return of Ricardo Goss.
Meanwhile, winger Kabomelo Kodisang, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Stellenbosch, is also likely to depart and so is Asekho Tiwani, who has hardly played at Sundowns.

Amid the off-field issues affecting Sundowns winger Monnapule Saleng, a sport psychologist hopes the player gets an arm around the shoulder.
Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso revealed last weekend that Saleng has been frozen out of the squad because of “systematic failures,” having failed to follow laid down rules and even refused to be involved in the CAF Champions League final, seeing the club cast him aside.
However, Mental Performance and Sport Psychology expert Jordan Byrne feels the player needs love and not vilification, expressing hope that both his club and SAFA can help him get over his latest issues.
“Some may be traumatic, some may be positive, but for the most part, we carry a lot of baggage, we carry a lot of unresolved trauma, we carry a lot of emotions with us and if this was not dealt with, which clearly has not been … and perhaps he has not had an outlet, he has not had someone he can talk to,” he told KickOff.

“The expectation can’t be on the individual himself. It needs to start from the club level, it needs to start from SAFA level actually, to realise that the mental side of the game does matter to our players and it needs to be acknowledged and addressed,” added Byrne.
Byrne feels Saleng could have had some traumatic incidents in the past which are now hampering him, hence the need for help.
“They want it so badly that it almost becomes detrimental to their performances. I hope there is someone at Sundowns who will come close to him and guide him through this process so that we can get the best out of him. The clubs need to be appointing counselors or sport psychologists. It’s not only about what happens on the pitch,” he further stated.
