Cardoso ‘doesn’t even know’ venue Downs play Polokwane

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso has shared his thoughts on the smaller venue where his side will face Polokwane City in their upcoming fixture.

“Look, we have to think match after match,” Cardoso stated.

“But it seems that we’re going to play somewhere, in some place in the countryside. They found a place to make this match. I don’t know even the name of it.

“Yeah, it’s their big stadium, nice for this level of matches. So, we’ll be very pleased to have that in place.”

Sundowns tipped to secure CAF CL crown

Guinea head coach Paulo Duarte has weighed in on the CAF Champions League final between Mamelodi Sundowns and AS FAR Rabat.

“Reaching a third consecutive final is a massive achievement. I hope this time he’ll manage to bring the trophy home with his club,” he said as quoted by Soccer Laduma.

Chiefs to miss five stars vs Sundowns?

Lebohang Maboe headlines a list of five Kaizer Chiefs players walking on a suspension tightrope ahead of facing Mamelodi Sundowns in a match that could be significant in the Betway Premiership title race.

If selected to play on Wednesday, striker Flavio da Silva will be playing with caution as he is on three yellow cards.

Maboe has been impressive in recent games and would want to be available to face his former club, Sundowns. That is subject to him not being yellow-carded against Siwelele.
