Sekhukhune United coach Lehlohonolo Seema has conceded Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sipho Mbule might be among the new players at the club.

The midfielder has struggled for game town at Masandawana and is among the players who might be shipped out on loan.

Babina Noko have been strongly linked to the services of the 26-year-old player to bolster their midfield.

Is Mbule going to Sekhukhune?

On Wednesday night, Sekhukhune United hosted Magesi FC in the Premier Soccer League fixture staged at Polokwane. Babina Noko laboured to a narrow 1-0 win over the league's new boys.

Seema was then asked about the chances of signing the Brazilians player before the transfer window closes on Friday.

“Let’s wait and see; when is the window closing? So definitely if there is news ja. The rumours, let’s keep it as rumours like that but as long as the window is still open that’s for sure that maybe one or two [additions] we can see.”

Sekhukhune want to have a good team

Seem further said the strengthening of the team is not because of the Caf Confederation Cup but it is due to the Premier Soccer League demands.

“It’s not even about [Caf competitions], the games in the Betway Premiership are already going to be on top of each other. We are going to spend two weeks here [Polokwane],” he continued.

“We are playing four games here so as long as we have depth because injuries will come, loss of form and a lot of things can happen.

“But it is not about Caf [Confederation Cup], we are just trying to make sure we balance our squad so that in each and every game we can have a good team.”
