Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Manqoba Mngqithi has discussed his side’s ’primary goals’ for this campaign.
The 53-year-old coach has been in charge of the Tshwane giants for over four months now having taken the reins in July.
Mngqithi’s troops seem to be getting it right now having had an inconsistent run somewhat at the start of the season.
Sundowns gaffer has outlined Sundowns' ambitious goals for the season, which include winning an eighth consecutive league title, capturing the CAF Champions League for the first time since 2016, and delivering impressive performances at the FIFA Club World Cup.
THREE MAIN OBJECTIVES FOR SUNDOWNS THIS SEASON
“The focus is on winning more matches than losing. Winning as many games as possible brings us closer to greater achievements,” said Mngqithi as per Mamelodi Sundowns Magazine.
“One of our primary goals is to win the league for an eighth consecutive time, but we also have our sights set on the CAF Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup.
“These tournaments present a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our talent on a larger stage and compete against some of the best teams in the world.
“We are committed to building a squad that not only excels domestically but also makes a significant impact internationally.”
