Bafana Bafana went top of Group C in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers after a 2-0 win over Lesotho on Friday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

Orlando Pirates star Relebohile Mofokeng and his counterpart from Mamelodi Sundowns Jayden Adams were on target against the Crocodiles.

The fans were left impressed with the general performance but felt some players like Percy Tau are done with the national team. Have a look at what they said.

Great game and a great win for Bafana Bafana. Percy Tau must not play on Tuesday against Benin, we are protecting his dignity –  MT Miso

Massive three  points, a massive win, and a clean sheet. We control our own fate. Let's maintain the level of commitment, dedication, and determination. Let's keep the momentum going. A tough game awaits –  Karabo Paul Matshaba

I know Sibisi is not 100% good when it comes playing from the back but guys this guy can defend, he would rather make a corner kick or throw in than be careless – Bhutt L Shelby

Great result. Now if we beat Benin next week then we have a very good chance of qualifying because Rwanda and Benin dropped points today and yesterday. We need to be out of reach by the time we play sleeping giant Nigeria because they are now hot on our heels and don't look like they are going to drop any points from now – Sim Mkunqwana

Mofokeng must stay away from girls! He must stay away from night clubs! He must stay away from booze! The people from Vaal must protect this precious talent, please – Motho Motho

Bafana should learn to put small countries to the sword

Jayden Adams celebrates his goal for Bafana Bafana against Lesotho.

We must be honest about Ranga Chivaviro, sorry I mean Percy Tau; that guy is finished. He is playing like Thapelo Maseko – Rofhiwa Nengovhela

Where is Shandre Campbell who was playing for SuperSport United? Should we get him and Relebohile Mofokeng on the sides, our strikers will perform – Thembisisa Funeka

Rele is an amazing talent, would love to see him invest in himself at the end of this season and get a personal trainer to work on strength and conditioning and he will become untouchable just like Yamal did – Patriq Duma

There is absolutely nothing wrong with scoring seven goals in a game, let's just learn to put these small countries to the sword – Karabo Matshego

Great display from Bafana Bafana. So long as Nigeria are behind us, I'm okay – Mhlanga Napster
