Rhulani Mokwena's Wydad Athletic Club shared the spoils with Union Touarga in the Botola Pro League fixture staged at the November 18 Stadium in Al Khemisset on Friday.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns had hoped to get maximum points in his bid to collect as many points as possible in the initial rounds of the Moroccan top tier.

A VAR review in the first quarter of the game ended with the hosts being awarded a penalty. It was adjudged by the officials that the ball had been handled in the danger zone leaving them with no option but to make the penalty call.
Mouad Dahak rose for the occasion and found the back of the net to give the hosts a lead which was welcomed with huge cheers from the home fans.
In the 37th minute, Mokwena's team managed to get their equaliser. Nassim Chadli was played in the danger zone, but his initial shot was parried by the goalkeeper. The rebound kindly fell on Walid Nassi who made no mistake from close range.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns tactician started his reign in Morocco with a 1-0 loss against Maghreb Fes. However, he won his second league fixture at home with a 1-0 scoreline over Moghreb Tetouan.
It means Mokwena has managed to collect four points from the initial three games played, out of the possible nine.
In the Excellence Cup, Wydad AC defeated Jeunesse Massira 2-0 in their first game of the group before drawing 0-0 with KACM.
The next Botola Pro League game is on Saturday, September 28 against Difaa El Jadida.
