Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi hopes to get a few quality players to help him achieve his targets next season.
One of the players who has attracted him is Simba SC's Jean Charles Ahoua who has been massive for the club. He has so far scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in the Tanzanian Premier League this season. The 23-year-old was vital in the Caf Confederation Cup as well, and managed to score three goals as Simba reached the final but lost to RS Berkane.
In his recent visit to Tanzania, coach Nabi couldn't hide his admiration for the Ivorian, ” I am very impressed with the number 10 jersey [Ahoua]. He is a good midfielder, he does things with confidence and his mind makes decisions quickly,” he said as quoted by Mwanaspoti.
How much do Simba want for Ahoua?

“Nabi was here last month, and it's believed that he said he was after Feisal Salum from Azam FC as well as Jean Charles Ahoua from Simba SC,” SNL24 reported.
Apparently, Kaizer Chiefs have shown keen interest in these two players. It will all depend on the talks now on which one they can sign, or if they sign both. But Nabi and another Chiefs official (Tera Maliwa) were here to look at those players last month.
“They are able to sell him. They are willing to sell him at the price they want. It's round about $600k (R10.7 million). So Chiefs have to meet that if they really want him. That's how things are with Jean and Kaizer Chiefs,” they concluded.
What are Simba SC saying?
Wekundu wa Msimbazi are keen on retaining their best players ahead of the new campaign, where they will be taking part in the Caf Champions League.
When reached for comment, Simba SC media officer Ahmed Ally conceded he has had speculations about the midfielder, but the club has not yet received any official offer from the Glamour Boys. “I have heard about that, but as a club, we did not receive any communication from them so far,” he stated.
Kaizer Chiefs laboured to a ninth-place finish in the Premier Soccer League, but ended the campaign with the Nedbank Cup title. They will be playing in the Caf Confederation Cup next season and compete in the domestic assignments as well.
