‘Nabi is not cooking; his technical team should bench him! This was Chiefs’ worst performance’

Kaizer Chiefs‘ flying start to the Premier Soccer League suffered a massive blow as they fell 3-1 to Sekhukhune United on Tuesday night at the FNB Stadium.

Bradley Grobbler scored a brace in either side of Flavio Silva's goal, before former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thabang Monare sealed the deal to bring Amakhosi down on their knees.

Unnecessary rotation by the technical team

I still don't understand why Mfundo Vilakazi is not given enough game time. This boy is good; he was supposed to be introduced early. Again, I don't understand why Fabio da Silva was taken off for Wandile Duba. Duba was invisible since he came in –  Thobani Dikaiosuné Mngomezulu

Nabi doesn’t like seeing us, Kaizer Chiefs, happy. He should have stayed in Tunisia permanently –  Renda Ben

Playing Aden McCarthy instead of Zitha Kwinika was the first mistake. Kwinika has been solid at the back. I also don’t know why we keep playing Pule Mmodi, a winger with no assists or goals, but he keeps getting minutes – Ntando Mbuzi

It's high time Nabi knows his winning strategy. Some players are good when they are used as subs – Pule Moddi, Gaston Sirino, Reeve Frosler, and Flavio Silva. The midfield is well-balanced if Thabo Cele starts the match. The defense is well-balanced if Paseka Mako Thabiso Monyane start. The striking department is good if Wandile Duba starts. Otherwise, this was the worst performance, and we can not blame the goalkeeper – Sanele Mbatha Gule

Unnecessary rotation within the squad is what’s troubling many coaches, including Nabi. If you had a good squad that won the previous game and played very well, stick with it unless injuries occur; rotate players only when necessary. Constantly changing the squad creates confusion among players and disrupts momentum – Theo Mosegedi

Nabi doesn't like good things

Kaizer Chiefs Fans

Nabi is not cooking; his technical team should bench him for benching our new gems. Da Silva is the new sheriff. I like Mmodi, but I think it's time now. Kwinika was needed, but as long as it does not affect our Nedbank Cup Championship – M. Yenxee

Nabi must start believing in Vilakazi. That boy is super fast and very clean. He must start with him; he won’t regret. That boy is brave and hungry – Sinothi Mpungose

Nabi doesn’t like good things at all. Why did he continue with players who failed him last season? His team couldn’t complete five passes. Mmodi, Matlou, Miguel, and Frosler weakened that team – Aphington Amukelani Hoxani Mashele

It was anticipated to be a difficult game, and the team was tested. There were tactical errors, but then I believe and know that Chiefs will bounce back stronger. Sekhukhune still needs to play Sundowns, with whom we drew with so it's not time to press those panic buttons, but time to chin up and keep going – Duiker Ke Kwatsebotse

I don’t like how we lost this game. We were just not in the game. Not because Sekhukhune was hard to beat, we just could not gel, and any opponent will punish us playing like that – Katlego Letlonkane
