Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has made promising revelations about the club’s plans for the upcoming January transfer window.

The Tunisian-Belgian tactician has been clear that he’s not yet content with the squad he has at his disposal.

Amakhosi couldn’t complete signings of some of their primary targets this past window. This includes Asanele Velebayi and Oswin Appollis.

They only brought on board Gaston Sirino, Rushwin Dortley, Inacio Miguel, Fiacre Ntwari and Bongani Sam.

Speaking after their weekend match against Mamelodi Sundowns, Nabi stated that he was not satisfied with striking department despite Ranga Chivaviro scoring on the day.

He emphasized the need for improved efficiency in capitalizing on the goal-scoring opportunities created.

Nabi revealed that he has already been allocated a budget for January, which he believes will enable him to acquire a “quality players” that he intends to scout personally.

NABI ON WHAT CHIEFS FANS SHOULD EXPECT IN NEXT TRANSFER WINDOW

“I think my striker [Chivaviro] scored today and in the previous game, it’s okay but I want the level that is more higher,” Nabi said.

“Honestly the market in Africa is very short, there’s four or five good players but big clubs like Esperance, Al Ahly, and Zamelek have already started the work [with their quality players].

“The market in Africa is not positive at the moment. For myself, I think now in October we don’t play, we only have November and December, and then the window opens in January.

“I have three months to seriously scout for quality players and players I want. I thank the club committee for giving me the budget.”
