Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have unveiled their starting lineups for the Nedbank Cup final set to kick off at 15:30 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
Chiefs and Pirates face off in the Soweto Derby for the second time in a week, and third meeting this season, but unlike the previous matches, a trophy is at stake.
Pirates are the defending Nedbank Cup champions, who have won the last two, and are looking for an unprecedented third on the bounce, while Chiefs are eyeing a first trophy since 2015.
That has therefore seen Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi and his Pirates counterpart Jose Riveiro field string lineups in a bid to get the edge over the other.
Pirates have won the two Soweto derbies played this season with Relebohile Mofokeng winning a late penalty that was converted by Patrick Maswanganyi on February 1 before the 20-year-old completed the turnaround last Saturday, when Glody Lilepo’s early strike for Chiefs had been cancelled out by Evidence Makpgopa.
