Defending Premier Soccer League champions Orlando Pirates recently made a decision to re-unite with Mohau Nkota.

The Bafana Bafana international shone for the Soweto giants in the 203/24 season before being snapped up by the Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ettifaq. However, things didn’t work out as expected owing to inconsistencies brought about by back-to-back injuries.

Nkota has been nursing his injury in Mzansi, hoping to get fit early enough to resume his duties on the pitch. But reuniting with the Sea Robbers was least expected by a majority of football lovers in the country.

Chiefs to win cup after 10 years!

A section of the supporters have welcomed the move, insisting it will improve the Sea Robbers. Others used the opportunity to taunt old rivals Kaizer Chiefs. This is what those in favour of the deal said:

Nkota might have missed lifting the league title, but will definitely lift the CAF Champions League -Avuyile Hlubi Mqilingwa

Some supporters are not fully convinced with Nkota’s return. Apart from distracting the current crop of players, they argue that the 21-year-old should have stayed abroad as opposed to coming back to Mzansi.
