Kaizer Chiefs fans are still reeling from the pain of losing the Soweto derby against old rivals Orlando Pirates.
Goals from Tshepang Moremi, Oswin Appollis and Evidence Makgopa handed the Sea Robbers a huge win. But for Amakhosi, it was a third straight loss across all competitions, and their fourth in five recent assignments.

There have been calls to fire co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef who took over from Nasreddine Nabi early in the season.
The Saturday loss at the FNB Stadium left Chiefs fifth on the Premier Soccer League table with 30 points from 17 matches, 11 less than both Mamelodi Sundowns and Bucs, who have 41 points from the 18 games played.
It is not that we don’t care
“Your passion and loyalty were on full display at the Soweto Derby on Saturday. You came in your numbers, arrived early, and gave the team unwavering support,” the Glamour Boys posted.
“While the result wasn’t what we had hoped for, your presence made all the difference. Makhosi, we thank you for showing up. Thank you for being there in your numbers
“We asked for your support and u stood by us. For this, we thank you. We move forward together as we focus on the next game. We move forward, not because we don’t care, but because we have to. Our mission is to do better and to show up!,” Chiefs concluded.
The next game for the Soweto giants will be on Tuesday when they play Richards Bay at uMhlathuze Stadium in a sold out affair.
“After a tough weekend, the players and coaches have reset their focus on the next challenge in their quest to return to continental competition, a dream that requires finishing in the league’s top three,” Chiefs communicated.
