Orlando Pirates have confirmed yet another departure of an attacking midfielder with just a few days before the closure of the PSL transfer window.
The Buccaneers have waved goodbyes to a number of players this transfer window and welcomed a handful of signings as Jose Riveiro continues to build his winning team.
The club has confirmed the “early release” of Lesedi Kapinga who has had struggles to establish himself in the shirt of Ezimnyama Ngenkani.
He joined the club at the start of the previous season following his departure from Mamelodi Sundowns. He came with big expectations having had some great moments at the Brazilians and an impressive stint with Black Leopards prior to Chloorkop move.
He had put pen to paper on a three-year-deal that was going to keep him at the club until June 2026. However, both parties have elected to go their seperate ways.
The 29-year-old played just 13 matches at Pirates across all competitions, providing just one assist in the process.
