Orlando Pirates are out playing catch up games as they still have three games in hand in the Betway Premiership.
The Buccaneers are fresh from a 2-1 Nedbank Cup final defeat suffered on Saturday at the Moses Mabhida Stadium at the hands of their arch-rivals, Chiefs.
This loss denied Pirates their aimed-for Nedbank Cup three-peat, having lifted the trophy in the previous two editions under coach Jose Riveiro.
Last game for departing Jose Riveiro
The upcoming match will mark the end of head coach Jose Riveiro's successful three-year tenure with Orlando Pirates, as he is stepping down from his position.
Bucs have granted the coach, often referred to as the ‘Spanish guitar', an early release from his contract following his signing for a new club
Riveiro won’t be available in the dugout when the Sea Robbers play their last four league matches against TS Galaxy, SuperSport United, AmaZulu FC and Magesi FC.

Pirates-Arrows head to head
The two sides recently met in the league’s first round clash where Pirates won 2-1, defeating Abafana Bes’thende in the midweek before facing Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final.
Tshegofatso Mabasa and Patrick Maswanganyi rattled the back of the net to propel the Soweto giants to a triumph which gave them the little hope for the Betway Premiership title. Meanwhile, Siyanda Mthanti scored the only goal for Arrows.
This match was a rescheduled fixture, originally set to take place in February earlier this year. It had been postponed at the time due to a waterlogged pitch caused by heavy rains.
Time, venue and where to watch
The match will take place on Tuesday, 13 May at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto. The match will be live on SuperSport TV (channel 202) in the DStv.
