Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has promised to deliver just the way his predecessor Jose Riveiro did.
Prior to his move from the Sea Robbers to Al Ahly, the Spaniard won five major trophies while with the Soweto giants. He also finished second in the Premier Soccer League for three consecutive years, and reached the Caf Champions League semi-final in the last season at Bucs.
Ouaddou wants to continue from where Riveiro left, and even exceed the achievements realised at the club.
‘I will do my best at Pirates'

The former Marumo Gallants tactician insists he has no time to relax and must hit the ground running.
“It’s positive pressure, I must say, when you put your feet in such a big club, not only in South Africa, but on the continent, of course, the board doesn’t bring you here to chill, I know the expectation of the fans, of the board,” he told the media.
“I will do my best to try to reach these targets; the players know as well, they have done a good job over the last three years, so let’s keep going. We have a big challenge this season,” the former Morocco international concluded.
Appollis elated after impactful debut

Meanwhile, Oswin Appollis has expressed his delight following his exploits against Polokwane City on Saturday. He was on target before being fouled in the danger zone to give Patrick Maswanganyi a chance to convert from the penalty spot.
“It’s amazing. I’m happy to be part of this big club. The teammates have been great to me. Growing up watching Pirates was amazing, and most of my good friends support the club. The day they [Pirates] inquired about me, I didn’t hesitate to sign,” he told the media.
“Getting my first trophy as a footballer [is one of my objectives]. I mean, who doesn’t want to win trophies? Plus, helping the team when I’m called up to come to do my job,” he concluded..
